Volkswagen has turned fiction into reality by unveiling a fully automatic car which really can drive itself - and at speeds of up to 150mph.

Yep. The company that has used "Drivers Wanted" as its advertising slogan is now trying to make them obsolete. Cuckoo as it sounds, here is the entire story, direct from the horse's orifice.

Now, if they can just develop a version that will get a job, pay for itself and allow me to retire peacefully they just might have a customer.
