As we have driven around the eastern half of the country these last five years, we have seen countless roadside memorials marking the site of one fatal car wreck or another.
Without exception, the central feature of each has been a cross: some makeshift, others quite elaborate.
The obvious question is this: don't Jews, Muslims and Mormons die in highway crashes?
I have yet to see a crescent moon, mogen david, or likeness of Moroni on the shoulder or in the median strip. But if I ever do, you can be certain I will chronicle it here.
